WHAT IS MY VALUE PROPOSITION

This is a statement that enables you to tell people what you do, its benefits and why they should choose you. Some of the pointers to a good value proposition is indicating how your solution is better, faster and cheaper than existing alternatives.

In order to create a good value proposition you need to have an in-depth understanding of your customers and also your competition.

The value of a product or service to a user is different from the value proposition for a decision maker or an influencer.  As an entrepreneur you need to understand first of your product or service is a Business-to-business (B2B) or business-to consumer (B2C). For example in a B2C the user could be a child and the decision maker could be a parent. The parent in this case needs to see the value your product brings in order to buy it for the user.
